This month we feature the Schultz family, a story
filled with cherished memories, shared passions,
and a profound love for togetherness and life. Joe
and Lisa's love story began in the hallways of a
Staten Island grammar school, leading to high
school sweethearts and a celebration of marriage
on May 30, 1993. Their best memories throughout
life have been the joy in their beach house in
Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. It's here, amidst the
sun-kissed shores and salty breeze, that they
forged some of their most treasured memories,
watched their children grow, and now delight in the
laughter of their grandchildren.
Joe, a graduate of NYC Tech with a degree in
Hotel Restaurant Management, has found
fulfillment as an Operations Specialist at
Millennium Partners, a prominent hedge fund in
Manhattan. Meanwhile, Lisa's passion for
caregiving led her to a career as a Nurse Manager
at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New
Brunswick, where she continues to make a
difference in the lives of others.
Their daughters, Alexandra and Jordyn, have
inherited their parents' strong work ethic and
compassionate spirit. Following in her mother's
footsteps, Alexandra serves as a pediatric visiting
nurse in Staten Island, while Jordyn is set to
graduate from Rowan University with a degree in
Marketing, poised to make her mark in the
business world. Alexandra has also married and
gifted the family two beautiful grandchildren. Her
husband, David is a Captain on the Staten Island
Ferry and they feel blessed with their children
Sophie and Ryan. The Schultz family's furry
companion, a black lab named Charles, holds a
special place in their hearts. He will be five in June
and loves to play ball and stick and he even lets
the babies climb all over him!
Eight years ago, the Schultifamily made the
decision to relocate to Colts Neck, seeking a
better quality of life amidst the rolling hills and
picturesque landscapes that define the area. They
found solace in the tranquility of the countryside,
relishing in the abundance of nature and the close-
knit community that welcomed them with open
arms. "We absolutely love Colts Neck and should
have moved here 10 years earlier!" says Joe.
They enjoy all the wide open spaces, the farms,
the horses and beautiful wildlife. "We enjoy the
proximity of Colts Neck to all the wonderful towns
and restaurants - from Belmar to Red Bank to the
Freehold Mall and Monmouth Race Track - it's the
perfect neighborhood to raise a family," says the
family.
The Schultz family finds pleasure in attending
mass at St. Mary's Church and cheering on their
favorite New York sports teams - the Yankees,
Giants, Knicks and Rangers. Joe personally
enjoys playing golf at all the local courses. They
are active members of their community, with
Alexandra spearheading various children's
activities in Staten Island and Jordyn leaving her
mark on the softball field as a key player in her
high school team at Saint John Vianney winning
the State Championship in 2019-2020.
